After more than 25 years managing complex luxury residential and large-scale construction projects, founder Ian Hamer set out to create a different kind of construction company — one rooted in relationships, craftsmanship, communication, and trust.
What began with years of experience building custom homes, luxury townhomes, and multi-family developments evolved into something far more intentional: a boutique construction firm focused on delivering exceptional homes and an exceptional client experience.
Long before IJH Construction existed, San Clemente already felt like home.
Growing up in Florida, Ian spent years traveling to San Clemente for surfing and lifeguard competitions, always drawn to the coastal lifestyle and architecture that make this community so unique. Years later, Ian and his wife Amy made the move with their family to build both a life and a business centered around the place they loved most.
Today, IJH Construction is proudly family-owned and operated, serving homeowners throughout coastal Orange County with a highly personal, detail-driven approach to construction.
We intentionally remain selective with the projects we take on so every client receives direct involvement, communication, and attention throughout the process.
